ILSTA was honoured to welcome a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Finance of Luxembourg and the Fonds de lutte contre certaines formes de criminalité.
Over the past years, the Ministry of Finance of Luxembourg has been an important partner in supporting ILSTA’s efforts to assist the Lao government in achieving AML/CFT compliance. Likewise, the Fonds de lutte contre certaines formes de criminalité has played a crucial role in supporting several key ILSTA initiatives, particularly those aimed at promoting and facilitating regional cooperation among prosecutors.
During the meeting, the delegation engaged in insightful discussions on the progress of technical assistance, the follow-up work on the APG Mutual Evaluation of Lao PDR, and the current situation and future requirements to align with FATF standards.
