The opening ceremony of the training for assistant prosecutors was held this morning, chaired by Mr Khamsan Suvoung, Prosecutor General of the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor of Lao PDR and Mr Richard Philippart, President of the Institute for Legal Support and Technical Assistance (ILSTA). The ceremony was organised at the Prosecutor Research and Training Institute and gathered more than 70 government officials who will soon pass the assistant prosecutor assessment. The training for assistant prosecutors will be 3 weeks, from January 18th to February 5th, 2021.
