The Round Table Implementation Meeting is taking place these last two days, November 25 – 26, in Luang Prabang and ILSTA is proudly represented at the meeting in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice.
RTIM is bringing together a large number of government agencies and development partners, including representatives from the civil society and private sector to assess the progress, further align priorities and reinforce efforts for meeting the objectives of the current 8th National Socio-Economic Development Plan (NSEDP 2016-2020), and the Voluntary National Review on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The initial draft lines of the 9th NSEDP (2021-2025) are also presented at the meeting, taking into account measures necessary for the improvement of the SDGs implementation and the graduation from the Least Developed Country (LDC) status by 2024, and becoming a Rule of Law State by 2024.
